Jeez, I dont even know where to begin with Prague. What a magical place. Every street and corner had something new and so beautiful - this was the place I had my camera over my shoulder every single moment of the day.. which you can see proof of below :-)
Hannah and I share a love for chai lattes, so we searched for the best chai in Prague and we definitely found it - It tasted even yummier than it looks and it helped us start our day of sight seeing so perfectly!
We started our sightseeing by crossing the Charles Bridge to head towards the other side of the river, even for 10 am there were sooo many people on the bridge but it was still so cool to see so many people in awe of how beautiful the bridge was and how perfect the views of the canal were - boats floated in and our through under the bridge and we spent time just watching them pass.
Hannah and I headed to the John Lennon wall, a spot very well known in Prague and we had no idea how huge and interesting this wall would be!! I couldn't stop taking photos of the wall because there was something so different and new on every inch. Hannah and I had other people take some photos of us but struggled hardcore... so if you were wondering why we don't have a lot of photos together its because were just terrible and cant take ourselves seriously, ever.
I think we checked our phones when we got home we had walked over 12 miles through this city, so it was easy to capture so many photos of the incredible architecture and little details that made this city so gorgeous.
There wasn't even enough time in the day to see everything we wanted to, but we walked through the oldest winery towards the cathedral, basilica, and Prague castle. We stopped to czech out the view at the top of the hill and enjoyed the views :)
It was free to walk through the cathedral, so obviously we went inside! There was this weight inside of the cathedral, it was full of people but pretty quiet, I felt so overwhelmed with how incredible the stained glass and architecture was I could barely explain it. Photos truly don't do it justice either, it was gorgeous.
Every corner had a cafe, and they were usually really stinkin cute and Hannah and I cant just walk right past that right???
Sunday morning we took the rest of our time to head up the Astronomical Clock Tower, and we got to the top just before noon, when the bell goes off. People stand at the bottom in the street to hear the bell ring, so when we looked down there were tons of people looking up towards us. It was raining to a lot of people had umbrellas and it was so cool to see everyone standing together. The view from on top of the tower was so gorgeous, we could see down each of the streets and could hear the street performers.
Thank you thank you thank you Prague for being so dang beautiful and having us for the weekend, you truly showed us beauty!
I hope to visit Europe again soon, there is so very much to see!!
